Dry Prawns Chutney (Wanak Ittinde chutney)

Almost all who love dry seafood items love Wanak ittinde chutney.  You can also make the same with Chiraav, that’s cut into tiny pieces.

1. 1 cup Dry Prawns
2. ½ half grated Coconut
3. 2 Green chilies
4. Half an inch Garlic
5. Little tamarind
6. 1 medium sized Onion
7. 1 tsp Oil
8. Salt as per taste

Clean and wash dry prawns well.  In a pan shallow fry it for 5mins and keep aside.  Grind together Ingredients 2 to 6, don’t grind too much let it be a little coarse in texture. Add fried dry prawns and mix well. Dry prawns sometimes don’t need salt because they contain salt already but if after mixing, the salt it’s not enough add more.
